EAST BRUNSWICK TWP., Pa. -

A woman is lucky to be alive after her vehicle crashed into a tractor trailer on Route 895 in East Brunswick Township, Schuylkill County.

State Police say the crash happened around 10 p.m. Friday near the intersection with Evergreen Drive.

An SUV driven by 59-year-old Pattty Adams of Orwigsburg crossed into opposing traffic after failing to negotiate a right-hand curve, according to police. She first crashed into a van before hitting the tractor trailer.
