NJ Supreme court says police need warrant for cell records

New Jersey police officers will have to work a little harder to get their hands on your cell phone records.

The state Supreme Court says officers will have to obtain a warrant if they want access to cellphone locating data.

The high court is the first in the country to impose such a ruling.

The ruling will affect future cases and won't be applied retroactively.
