Stabbing threat lands Loujan Lake in jail

Phillipsburg, NJ -

Phillipsburg police are investing a fight between two groups of people that took place on Sunday.

Lojuan Lake of Phillipsburg, NJ, alleged that Latisha Rodgers, also of Phillipsburg, NJ, had sprayed pepper spray at him and another female. Police allege that Mr. Lake had made verbal threats to an individual at the scene and threatened to stab him with a knife.

Police charged Mr. Lake with possession of a weapon, possession of a weapon with an unlawful purpose, terroristic threats and disorderly conduct. Ms. Rodgers was charged with disorderly conduct and possession of more than three quarters of an ounce of pepper spray.


Bail for Mr. Lake was set at $10,000 and he was placed in Warren County jail in lieu of bail. Ms. Rodgers was released with a pending court date.

An investigation is still ongoing.
