Phillipsburg police seek two who tried to rob driver

Phillipsburg police are looking for two men who tried to rob a woman on Wednesday, causing her to drive into a utility pole.
At 4:09 p.m. Wednesday, Phillipsburg police responded to the first block of Cedar Alley for a motor vehicle crash.
The unidentified driver of the vehicle, a 29-year-old woman from Kinnelon, N.J., told police two males approached her and one produced a handgun and demanded money.
The victim stated that caused her to collide with a utility pole.
Both individuals left before police arrived.
The victim was treated for minor injuries at St. Luke's Hospital in Warren County, N.J., then released.
One suspect is described as possibly a Middle Eastern male, with a medium complexion, thin beard and wearing a blue flannel shirt.
The other is described as a white male wearing a baseball cap.
Police are continuing their investigation.
