Twenty-one-year-old Henry Bonerjez-Juarez of Flemington was arrested and charged with harassment and disorderly conduct for the alleged offensive touching of a 33-year-old Flemington woman.
At 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, the victim was walking her dog near the intersection of Main and Capner streets when approached by a man who inquired about petting and taking a picture of the dog.
Bonerjez-Juarez allegedly touched the woman in an offensive way, according to law enforcement officials.
Hunterdon County Prosecutor's Detective Frank Crisologo was at the intersection of Main and Capner when he observed a woman screaming and attempting to flee from Bonerjeez-Juarez.
Crisologo intervened and, assisted by Prosecutor's Detective Edmund DeFilippis, detained Bonerjez-Juarez. Flemington police responded, and Bonerjez-Juarez was taken into custody.
He was charged, then released with a pending court appearance on August 8.
