PHILLIPSBURG, N.J. -

A former teacher and football coach implicated in a prescription drug ring has struck a plea deal.

Former Phillipsburg High School teacher and associate head football coach Kevin Kane has pleaded guilty to nine drug charges.

He'll also forfeit his teaching license and he agreed to testify against Frank Stillo in any future trial. In exchange, prosecutors dropped four charges against Kane.

Stillo is the alleged leader of an Oxycodone ring Kane was involved in.

They'll also seek a five-year prison sentence with a mandatory minimum sentence of one year.
