Both the Scouts and the Spartans say they have returned enough talent from last year to be forces in Berks County once again.

the final Big Ticket Friday last season, there were only three Berks County teams still playing. Berks Catholic, Wilson and Conrad Weiser. The Scouts quietly put together one of the best seasons at the aaa level...they don't expect that to change this year.>>> Weiser advanced as far as the District iii semifinals where they ran into juggernaut Bishop McDevitt for the third straight season.Weekly Ticket Taker Aidan Brosious and Dext er Jordan are among some of Al Moyer's key losses from last season. But 1,000 yard rusher Alex Guilbe is back along with an experienced offensive line. That should be enough for the Scouts as of now... until one of their quarterbacks emerges. >>>>>> Down 422 to Wyomissing...the Spartans finished 6-6 last season in the wake of winning the state championship the year before. Wyo knew it had to replace essentially it's entire starting lineup last year...but that's not the case in 2014.Bob Wolfrum has most of his playmakers back including Tom Paolini and Scott Kuczala.Where the Spartans really have to get to work over the next few in the trenches.>>>
