A line of heavy thunderstorms will be passing through the 69 News viewing area Thursday evening.
The major concern will be for strong winds and heavy downpours, which could create some flash flooding. The storms won't stay with us all night, so look for the activity to quiet down just after midnight.
At that point we'll be left with partly to mostly cloudy skies and a lingering shower for the rest of the overnight as temperatures fall into the low 60s.
We'll watch for a refreshing air mass filter in from the northwest on Friday, at times in a breezy fashion. This means Friday will be much cooler and significantly less humid under intervals of clouds and sun.
From there, conditions only get better for the weekend with plenty of sun and highs in the upper 60s and low/mid 70s.
