The big weather story is now the wind and cold after our first winter storm of 2014 brought a general three to eight inches of snow.
Record low temperatures are possible Friday night as the coldest air in five years descends on our area. Please limit your time outside and make sure all skin is covered.
Winds will ease overnight. With clear skies, temperatures are poised to plummet.
Saturday looks quiet with partly sunny skies and cold temperatures (not feeling nearly as harsh) in the lower and middle 20s.
Another storm will move in Sunday with a chance of rain that could arrive as some ice Sunday morning and early afternoon before changing to all rain later Sunday afternoon and evening. Any lingering moisture could end as a bit of snow with a rapid freeze-up Monday afternoon.
