HOPE TWP., Pa. -

A Monroe County woman accused of causing a fatal crash on Interstate 80 in Warren Co., N.J., surrendered to state police Wednesday.

Amanda Rivera, 23, of Henryville, faces vehicular homicide and assault by auto charges

Police said she was intoxicated and driving on the wrong side of the road when she plowed head-on into another vehicle on I-80 in Hardwick Township on Dec. 27.

The collision killed Jason Frey, 25, Effort. The driver and two other passengers in the vehicle with Frey suffered non-life-threatening injuries.

Rivera is being held in the Warren County Jail on $100,000 bail with a 10% option.
