Wanted in Macungie: Burglary suspects
Macungie police are asking the public's help to identify two people who may be involved in a burglary in the borough.
Police said two suspects in a pawn shop surveillance photo may be connected to a burglary that took place on June 10 around 11:30 a.m.
According to police, a woman walked to the front door of a home on Lindfield Circle, knocked and tried the door, then walked away while talking on a cell phone.
Less than a minute later, a light-skinned black or Hispanic man walked to the same door and was able to get inside, police said.
Police said it appeared the woman walked to an area where she could watch for police.
Witnesses who watched the two called police.
Before police arrived a short time later, the man was able to escape, possibly through a side window.
Nothing was taken from the home, thanks to the quick phone call by the witnesses and quick police response, police said.
Anyone with information is asked to call police at 610-966-2222.
