A woman's van crashes into a home, causing the roof of a front porch to collapse onto the van.

LOWER POTTSGROVE TWP., Pa. -

A van ran off the road in Montgomery County, crashing into a home and causing the front porch roof to collapse.

The wreck happened around 8:45 a.m. Sunday in the 2300 block of East High Street in Lower Pottsgrove Township.

Crews at the scene say the driver of the van ran off the road and side swiped two telephone poles before crashing into the front porch of the home.

The porch roof collapsed onto the van. Crews had to stabilize the roof before removing the adult female driver.

She was taken to hospital. Her injuries are not believed to be life threatening, officials said.

The cause of the wreck is under investigation.
