BANGOR, Pa. -

A man broke into a home and made off with cash and cologne, officials said.

Tyler A. Widrick entered the home of Brett Holland in the 500 block of Mount Pleasant Road, Bangor, Northampton Co., through a kitchen window at 4:30 p.m. Tuesday and took between $150 and $200 in cash in a plastic jar and two $20 bottles of cologne in a dresser from the master bedroom upstairs, officials said.

Holland had a trail camera outside his home, and when police viewed surveillance footage, an officer recognized the man running around in Holland's yard as Widrick, officials said.

Widrick was found at a home in the 100 block of North Main Street in Bangor, and when he was taken to headquarters, he admitted to the break-in, officials said.

Widrick, 19, of 415 Heinsohn Hill Road, Bangor, was arraigned on charges of burglary, criminal trespass, theft and receiving stolen property and committed to the Northampton County Prison on $75,000 bail, according to court documents.

A preliminary hearing is set for 9 a.m. Nov. 22.
