MONTGOMERY COUNTY

New as of 10/30/14
The westbound Interstate 76 off-ramp to Route 23 West (Exit 322) in West Conshohocken Borough, Montgomery County, will be closed and detoured from 7 p.m. Friday (Oct. 31) to 12 p.m. Saturday (Nov. 1) for concrete repairs.
During construction, I-76 motorists wanting to access Route 23 West will exit at Gulph Mills Interchange and turn left onto Balligomingo Road. Drivers will then turn left at Route 320, left at Upper Gulph Road and left at Matsonford Road to reach Route 23.

Aqua Pennsylvania will close a lane on Route 320 (Spring Mill Road) at County Line Road in Lower Merion Township on Monday and Tuesday (Oct. 27-28) from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. for water main installation.

Joshua Road will be closed between Route 73 (Skippack Pike) and Stenton Avenue in Whitemarsh Township for pavement repairs.

The work schedule is:
·    Monday and Tuesday (Oct. 27-28) from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Joshua Road will be closed between Stenton Avenue and Militia Hill Road. During this operation, Joshua Road motorists will be detoured over Stenton Avenue and Militia Hill Road
·    Wednesday and Thursday (Oct. 29-30) from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Joshua Road will be closed between Militia Hill Road and Route 73 (Skippack Pike). During this operation, Joshua Road motorists will be detoured over Route 73 (Skippack Pike) and Militia Hill Road.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the area. The operation is dependent on the weather.

Henderson Road/Beidler Road is scheduled to close at Route 23 (Valley Forge Road) in Upper Merion Township on Wednesday through Friday (Oct. 29-31) from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., for pavement repairs. During this operation, Henderson Road/Beidler Road through traffic will be detoured over Route 23 (Valley Forge Road). Local access will be maintained up to the construction zone.

Weekday and weeknight lane restrictions are scheduled on Route 232 (Huntingdon Pike) between Shady Lane in Rockledge Borough and Abington Township, and Route 63 (Welsh Road/Philmont Avenue) in Lower Moreland Township on Monday through Friday (Oct. 27-31) from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. for resurfacing.

Realen Valley Forge Greenes Associates will restrict North Gulp Road between U.S. Route 202 (DeKalb Pike) and Warner Road in Upper Merion Township beginning Monday, September 15 for roadway construction and drainage improvements, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) today announced. North Gulph Road will be restricted weekdays from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. through the end of October.

BUCKS COUNTY

Lane restrictions are scheduled on Route 132 (Street Road) between Willopenn Drive and Route 611 (Easton Road) in Upper Southampton, Warminster and Warrington townships on Sunday through Friday (Oct. 26-31) from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. for resurfacing operations.

One lane will be closed on eastbound and westbound Route 132 (Street Road) between Route 532 (Bustleton Avenue) and Kingston Way in Lower Southampton and Bensalem townships on Monday through Friday (Oct. 27-31) from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. for milling and resurfacing. Route 132 (Street Road) motorists are advised to use extra care when driving through the work zone and to allow additional time for travel because slowdowns will occur.

Daytime Lane Closures for Bridge Inspections
 
The work schedule is:
·    Tuesday (Oct. 28) – The right lane on northbound Brownsville Road will be closed between Creek Road and Periwinkle Avenue in Lower Southampton Township, Bucks County, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
·    Thursday (Oct. 30) – The right lane will be closed on Route 32 (River Road) between Stagecoach Road and Tinicum Creek Road in Tinicum Township, Bucks County, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Motorists are advised to allow more time for travel during the bridge inspections because slowdowns will occur.

Motorists will face intermittent weekday traffic restrictions on Bristol Road between Old York Road and Brennan Road in Warminster Township on Monday (Sept. 29) through Nov. 21 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. for utility relocations

Aqua Pennsylvania will close Bristol Road in Bensalem Township, Bucks County, and Church Road in Cheltenham Township, Montgomery County, on Weekdays beginning Oct. 6 for water main installations.

The work schedule is:
· Oct. 6 through Dec. 22 – Bristol Road will be closed and detoured between U.S. Route 1 and Neshaminy Boulevard from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Motorists will be detoured over Neshaminy Boulevard, Rock Hill Road, and Old Lincoln Highway; and
· Oct 6 through Jan. 30, 2015 – Church Road will be closed and detoured between Route 611 (York Road) and Mill Road from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Motorists will be detoured over Mill Road, New Second Street, Township Line Road, and Route 611 (York Road).
Motorists are advised to allow extra time for travel through the construction zones

CHESTER COUNTY

Drivers will face nighttime lane closures over the next week when traveling on U.S. Route 202 between the Chesterbrook and Route 401 interchanges in Tredyffrin and East Whiteland townships for roadwork.
Lane closures will be in place on northbound and southbound Route 202 from 10 p.m. Friday, Oct. 24 to 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 23; on Sunday, Oct. 26 through Thursday, Oct. 30 from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m.; and from 8 p.m. Friday, Oct. 31 to 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 1. ________________________________________________________________________________
The northbound Route 202 will be reduced to one lane between Paoli Pike and U.S. Route 322 Interchange in West Goshen Township on Monday through Wednesday (Oct. 27-29) from 11 p.m. to 5 a.m. for the relocation of utility conduit.

Construction activity to widen and improve Route 100 (Pottstown Pike) will reduce northbound travel to one lane between Worthington Road and Route 113 (Uwchlan Avenue) in Uwchlan Township on Monday through Friday (Oct. 27-31) from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Aqua Pennsylvania will restrict travel on three state roads in Chester County - North High Street and Marshall Street in West Chester Borough and Route 23 (Valley Forge Road) in Schuylkill Township – for the installation of new water mains.
The work schedule is:
·    On Monday, Sept. 29 and Tuesday, Sept. 30, one lane will be closed on North High Street at East Virginia Avenue  in West Chester Borough from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.;
·    From Monday, Sept. 29 to Friday, Nov. 28, Route 23 (Valley Forge Road) will be closed and detoured between White Horse Road and Kleyona Avenue in Schuylkill Township weekdays from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Motorists will be detoured over Route 29 (Main Street), Pothouse Road, White Horse Road, Valley Park Road and Country Club Road; and
·    From Monday, Oct. 6 to Friday, Dec. 5, Marshall Street will be closed and detoured between North High Street and Montgomery Avenue in West Chester Borough and West Goshen Township weekdays from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. One posted detour will take traffic from North High Street over Market Street and Montgomery Avenue. A second detour will take vehicles over Montgomery Avenue, Gay Street and North High Street.
Motorists are advised to allow extra time for travel through the construction zones
________________________________________________________________________________The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) closed the structurally-deficient Burnt Mill Road Bridge over a branch of the Red Clay Creek in Kennett Township, Chester County, due to structural deterioration.
During the bridge closure, Burnt Mill Road will be detoured over Norway Road and Spring Mill Road. Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the area.
The structure will remained closed until a project is designateded to either repair or replace the bridge.

MONTGOMERY COUNTY & CHESTER COUNTY
The resurfacing of U.S. Route 202, U.S. Route 422 and several ramps at the interchange of the two expressways in Tredyffrin Township, Chester County, and Upper Merion Township, Montgomery County, will start Sunday morning (Oct. 26), weather permitting.
Crews will start on Route 202 North between Route 252 (Valley Forge Road) and Interstate 76 from 5 a.m. Sunday (Oct. 26) to 5 a.m. Monday (Oct. 27), and then on Monday through Thursday (Oct. 27-Oct. 30) from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. Construction also will take place on the Route 202 North ramp to Interstate 76 East on Tuesday through Thursday (Oct. 28-30) from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m.
Construction is scheduled to finish in late November.

DELAWARE COUNTY

Aqua Pennsylvania will close Route 320 (Sproul Road) weekdays between Route 3 (West Chester Pike) and Church Lane in Marple Township, Delaware County, beginning Monday, Oct. 13 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., for water main replacement, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) today announced. The weekday closure will be in effect through Wednesday, Dec 31. During this operation, Route 320 (Sproul Road) through traffic will be detoured over Route 3 (West Chester Pike) and Church Lane. Local access will be maintained up to the construction zone.
