WEST READING, Pa. -

A tip caller alerted 69 News early Wednesday morning to a location where some toys stolen from the West Reading Playground could be found.

West Reading police on Monday released surveillance video of adults, caught on camera, who used children to help steal bags of donated toys that belonged to the summer playground program.

The community then on Tuesday made a plea for the toys to be returned and now, it seems, they have.

A man, who asked to remain anonymous, called 69 News around 12:30 a.m. Wednesday, saying the equipment was in a parking lot at Parkside Drive South and Thrush Road in Wyomissing.  He wouldn't say how he knew the items were there, but when pressed, he said, "The people who did it said they're sorry and it's there."

69 News called police who, along with WFMZ's Dwayne Parker, found the toys in a parking lot around 12:50 a.m.

Police said some of the bags of toys were recovered, and they're still going through all of the recovered items.

No arrests have been made at this point, police said.
