Thursday will feature colder temperatures with highs holding in the middle 20s despite mostly sunny skies

Another winter storm pushed through the area Tuesday night and Wednesday causing a period of snow followed by freezing rain and rain. Snowfall amounts varied quite a bit across the viewing area with as much as 6"-12" in our northern location to as little as a coating to 1" further the south. Ice accumulations ended up around a 0.25" to 0.5" for most before the precipitation finally exited the region Wednesday afternoon.

Tonight: A snow shower or flurry early; Cold with gradual clearing. Watch for black ice! Low: 18

We will see skies gradually clearing out overnight along with low temperatures dipping into the upper teens and lower 20s. Due to the cold conditions overnight, you will want to watch for some icy spots on area roadways as black ice may develop.

Thursday: Sunshine and patchy clouds; cold. High: 26 Low: 8

Thursday will feature colder temperatures with highs holding in the middle 20s despite mostly sunny skies. Very little will change on Friday as a mix of sun and clouds remains overhead with highs topping out in the mid to upper 20s.
