HATFIELD, Pa. -

Hatfield Pennsylvania's branch of the American Legion will begin displaying a mobile memorial to those who served in the Vietnam War Thursday.

The Vietnam Moving Wall will be on display at American Legion Post 933 from June 27 to July 1.

There will be an opening ceremony for the exhibit beginning at 2 PM.

Members of the Hatfield legion will speak, along with legion members from other posts and Vietnam veterans.

The ceremony is planned to run about an hour.

The Moving Wall is a half-sized replica of the Vietnam Memorial in Washington D.C.

It was build by John Devitt, a veteran who wanted people who could not visit Washington to have a chance to experience the memorial's power.

Two Moving Walls travel the U.S. from April to November, and stop at sponsored locations for about a week.
