The Moody Blues to rock Musikfest this summer

You can enjoy 'An Evening with The Moody Blues' at Musikfest this summer.+
The iconic British rock band will headline the festival's Steel Stage on Tuesday, August 5.
Called the “Sistine Chapel of popular music” by Rolling Stone, The Moody Blues have sold in more than 70 million albums worldwide while producing 14 platinum and gold discs.
This year marks the 50th anniversary of the band's formation.
Formed in 1964 in Birmingham, England, the group was one of the key artists to come out of the British Invasion.
Over the decades, The Moody Blues have produced a number of well-known hits including the anthems “Nights In White Satin” and “Tuesday Afternoon,” as well as “Ride My See Saw,” “The Story In Your Eyes,” “Isn’t Life Strange,” “Question,” “I’m Just A Singer (In A Rock And Roll Band),” “Your Wildest Dreams” and “I Know You’re Out There Somewhere.”
Tickets are $39-$49 and go on sale starting Tuesday, Feb. 25 at 10 a.m. to ArtsQuest members and to th public on Friday, Feb. 28 at 10 a.m.

The Moody Blues is the fourth concert announced for the 2014 Musikfest.
