EMMAUS, Pa. -

An Emmaus couple has been arrested for numerous drug offenses resulting from a four-week investigation by the Lehigh County District Attorney’s Drug Task Force and the Emmaus Police Department.

Tasha Amanda Salsbury, 36, and her husband, Kevin Christopher Salsbury, 34, both of 625 Walnut St., Apartment 1, were charged with possession with intent to deliver heroin and cocaine, possession of controlled substances and conspiracy to deliver controlled substances.

They were arraigned Thursday and committed to Lehigh County Prison.

On Thursday, a search warrant was executed at the couple’s apartment. Police found more than one ounce of loose heroin, an ounce of cocaine, Ecstasy, drug paraphernalia, and packaging materials, including baggies, scales, syringes and measuring spoons.

Joseph P. Stauffer, chief detective of the Drug Task Force, said police also seized $1,700.

The execution of the search warrant was the result of an investigation involving intelligence gathering and undercover drug purchases.
