Updated On: Jul 19 2013 10:04:22 AM CDT
Get ready for a sweet weekend! It's the Blueberry Festival at Burnside Plantation in Bethlehem.
Historic Bethlehem Museums and Sites says this year's annual event will be bigger and better than ever.
As always, you can sample all kinds of blueberry food, from muffins to ice cream to blueberry beef jerky!
Tour the historic barn, house, and more! There will be demonstrations and hands-on history lessons for kids, including learning how a high horse-powered wheel works.
You can also see a colonial brewing demonstration, and new this year: taste some beer and wine!
"People would come and ask when the beer would be ready, when can I have something to drink? Of course we were always a dry festival, family-oriented and will remain family-oriented but also we're going to offer some small samplings," said Chris Bowen, beer historian and Colonial brewmaster at the festival.
Of course some of the beer and wine will be blueberry-themed as well!
The festival is at Burnside Plantation at 1461 Schoenersville Road. and kicks off Saturday, July 20th at 11 a.m.
Tickets are $8 for adults, $7 for seniors and $4 for children aged 6-16. Children 5 and under are free.
