A man was trapped inside his SUV after it went off the road and crashed a few miles outside Fleetwood on Tuesday.

The driver, Ervin Ortiz, was traveling east in the 300 block of Maidencreek Road in Richmond Township when he lost control of his SUV around 11:30 a.m., police said.

The vehicle crossed the center line and went off the road, hitting a mailbox and a tree before flipping onto its passenger side and coming to rest against a second tree, police said.
