The BCIAA lacrosse semifinals were held on Tuesday night. The Exeter and Wilson boys teams advanced along with the Exeter and Governor Mifflin girls.
In Reiffton, the top-seeded Wilson boys took care of Berks Catholic, 13-6. Conner Howell led the way for the Bulldogs with 5 goals. Matt Kase and Ian Kubinak both had a pair of goals for the Saints.
Following that game, second-seeded Exeter cruised past Wyomissing, 14-4. Bryan Crim and Justin Long each racked up 4 goals for the Eagles. Sean Clark netted a pair for the Spartans.
In Shillington, the top-seeded Exeter girls handled Berks Catholic, 13-3. Hailey Leister paced the Eagles with 4 goals. Morgan Stump and Abigail Halferty each added 2 goals for Exeter.
In the second semifinal, third-seeded Governor Mifflin knocked off second-seeded Wilson, 11-9. The Mustangs' Emma Jones led all scorers with 4 goals. She got help from Melanie Colozzi's hat trick. Madison Klee tallied 3 goals to lead the Bulldogs.
The girls will play first on Thursday night in Exeter, with the host Eagles featured in both title games. In the girls championship game, Exeter will play Governor Mifflin at 6:00. The Eagle boys will then meet Wilson immediately after that game.
