The Reading High football team took some positive steps in Rob Flowers first year as head coach. In his second year, the Red Knights hope to avoid turnovers, a critical factor in last year's outcome.
Reading was competitive in a majority of its games last season. In fact, the Red Knights probably could have made the District III tournament had it not committed so many turnovers at critical times.
Fixing the turnover problem has been one of Flowers' offseason goals, along with weight lifting. His team has enough skill guys back to make some noise in Berks I, but replacing versatile playmaker Jalan Branford will be difficult.
