The Lehigh Valley IronPigs continue a record streak--with attendance!
The Triple A affiliate of the Philadelphia Phillies is on a streak--with game-goers surpassing 600,000 at Coca-Cola Park in Allentown for the sixth straight season.
That's the longest active streak in the minor leagues, the team Tweeted Monday morning.
Those numbers are through Sunday night's game. The IronPigs play their final game of the 2013 season Monday with a 1:35 p.m. start against the Pawtucket Red Sox.
According to the International League website, the IronPigs are third in the league for attendance with 604, 070.
Number one were the Indianapolis Indians with 637,579 followed by the Columbus Clippers at 624,038.
But the 'Pigs are only 2nd in average attendees per game, with 9,016 per game, only behind the Clippers at 9,177.
