HS BOYS RUNDOWN: Parkland moves on in PIAA state playoffs

The Parkland boys won their PIAA state playoff opener Saturday night, while the Emmaus, Wilson West Lawn and Notre Dame boys all lost.
Parkland used a 14-2 second quarter run to take the lead for good against CB West, winning 63-51 in round one of the PIAA 4A state playoffs.
The Trojans move to the second round of the state tournament for the second straight year.
Emmaus dropped its first round 4A state playoff game 65-52 to Abington.
The Green Hornets end their season at 18-9, and as District 11 4A runners-up.
After playing to a tie at halftime, Pennsbury blew past Wilson 65-43 in their first round 4A matchup.
The Bulldogs end their season at 26-4, while the Falcons move into the second round.
Notre Dame fell to Delaware Valley Charter 60-45 in the opening round of the 2A tournament.
The loss snapped a 13-game winning streak for the Crusaders, who won both the Colonial League and District 11 2A titles this season.
Notre Dame ends its season at 17-10.
