Exeter boys basketball faces rebuilding challenge

The Eagles graduated all five starters from last years team, which means they have some growing to do this year.

Following an outstanding season in which Exeter won its first 14 games of the season, the Eagles must replace all five starters from that team. Even though Exeter is young, the team does have talent.

The Eagles are set to compete in Berks I, perhaps the toughest division within Berks County.

Brett Gilbert and Mike Menet are the only returning players who saw significant minutes last season.

But Exeter isn't allowing the "young" tag to slow them down. The team has been fiery at practice and in the offseason. The Eagles guarantee that they'll compete.

Exeter is out at the Lower Dauphin tournament this weekend.
