The Exeter wrestling team has started this year in the way they had hoped. They're winning and that sets the tone for the tougher part of their schedule in the weeks to come. The Eagles would be tested within their division Wednesday though. Exeter went on the road to Governor Mifflin to face the perennial Berks title
Governor Mifflin dealt Exeter its first loss of the season in a 39-22 decision at Shillington.
The Eagles had the early momentum when Alex Kramer defeated Wilson Fontanez via pin in the 160 pound class.l
But the Mustangs rallied quickly. Jan Johnson put Mifflin ahead for good with a pin of Evan McGarry in the 195 pound class.
The Mustangs six of the seven final bouts to seal the victory.
Wilson West Lawn went to Birdsboro and picked up a 51-15 win over Daniel Boone.
Wilson's night was highlighted by Hunter Hatlee's pin in 29 seconds.
