2 die weeks after food truck explosion

PHILADELPHIA -

A mother and daughter who were severely burned in a food truck explosion earlier this month have died from their injuries.

Seventeen-year-old Jaylin Landaverry and her mother Olga Galdamez were inside the truck that exploded back on July 1 in Philadelphia's Hunting Park.

The two were inside La Parrillada Chapina food truck that Galdamez owned at the time of the explosion.

The truck was parked in the 300 block of West Wyoming Avenue.

Officials said a leaky propane tank was to blame.

Landaverry died late Tuesday night and her 42-year-old mother passed away Sunday.
