Surveillance video shows woman taking items from collection bin.

FAIRLESS HILLS, Pa. -

Apparently, things are not always as they seem.

Officials from Toys for Tots say a woman seen on surveillance video picking up toys from a suburban Philadelphia store was one of their volunteers and not a thief.

Surveillance video shown on local television newscasts Tuesday showed a woman taking items from the Toys for Tots bin inside Wings-to-Go in Fairless Hills.

Employees of the store said they were shocked that someone would take toys meant for needy children. It turns out that's not what happened.

Two Toys for Tots volunteers were similarly mistaken for thieves last December at a Walgreens in Cherry Hill, N.J.
