TOWAMENCIN TOWNSHIP, Pa. -

Vandals who spray painted homes and vehicles as well as thieves who stole from unlocked cars are being sought by Towamencin Township police.

The incidents happened over two nights late last week in the same area of the Montgomery County township.

Between Thursday evening and Friday morning, vandals with spray paint damaged two homes on Freedom Circle and one home on Churchill Court. Police report numerous vehicles also were damaged by spray paint on Durham Court, Freedom Circle and Revere Drive.

Between Friday evening and Saturday morning, thieves hit several unlocked vehicles parked in the 200 block of Dorchester Way. They got about $190 worth of cash, alcoholic beverages and Oakley sunglasses.

Police remind residents to lock their vehicles when left unattended and to remove valuables. If valuables must be left in a vehicle, they should be stored so they are not readily visible.

Anyone with information about the incidents should contact Towamencin police at 215-368-7606.
