Man accused of assaulting state trooper

WEST ROCKHILL TWP., Pa. -

A Bucks County man has been arrested for allegedly assaulting a state trooper.

State Police say it happened Saturday night at Grand View Hospital in West Rockhill Township.

Police say Roger Weese, 34, of Milford Township, Bucks County, made several threats to harm two state troopers. The incident escalated when Weese stepped towards one of the troopers and punched the trooper in the mouth as he was attempting to redirect Weese.

Weese is charged with aggravated assault, terroristic threats and simple assault.
