Low-cost rabies clinics set for Montgomery Co.

Keep your pet healthy with low-cost rabies vaccines in June.

The Montgomery County Health Department is offering low-cost rabies immunizations for the 22nd straight year.

Pennsylvania and county law require pet owners to make sure their pets have the rabies shot every year.


The clinics will be held on Saturdays in June and cost is $10 per shot.

The 2013 annual rabies clinics will be held at the following locations and times:

June 1   9-11 a.m.

Abington Recycling Center
Florey Lane (off of Easton Road)

June 8  9-11 a.m.

Collegeville Community Park
4th and Park Avenue

June 15  9-11 a.m.

Encore Experiences at Harleysville on Alumni Avenue
(off of Main Street)

June 22  9-11 a.m.

Burnside Oakland Park
Burnside Avenue and
Oakland Drive
West Norriton

All animals must be leashed or in an approved carrier.

Last year, 855 pets were vaccinated at five rabies clinics in Montgomery County.
