If you have unwanted pills in your house, there's a safe way to dispose of them.
The seventh National Take Back Drug Day is set for Saturday, Oct. 26 at several locations around the area from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
It's a way to get rid of expired, unused and unwanted medications, liquid products, creams in containers and pet medications.
The service is free and no questions will be asked.
Syringes with needles and other sharps will not be accepted.

The event, which was started in 2010, was coordinated by the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA).
Studies show that a majority of abused prescription drugs are obtained from family and friends, including those found in the home medicine cabinet.
In addition, citizens are now advised that their usual methods for disposing of unused medicines – flushing them down the toilet or throwing them in the trash – both pose potential safety and health hazards.
