Crews had a big cleanup to do when gallons of methanol spilled in Montgomery County Thursday morning.

Hazardous materials crews were called to Suburban Propane at 701 Bethlehem Pike in Montgomery Township around 10 a.m. for a fluid spill.

Workers spilled 30 gallons of methanol, which was quickly contained.

No one was hurt or sickened by the incident.

There's no word on what caused the spill.

Officials closed Route 309 between Taylor Street and the Five Points intersection while crews cleaned up the spill.
