Police have identified the man who they say opened fire in a Montgomery County strip club Saturday night.
Police say Joseph Thiers, 55, has been charged and arraigned for the crime.
Police swarmed Double Visions Strip Club at 1138 Easton Road in Horsham after authorities say Thiers walked in and started shooting.
69 News has learned Thiers was allegedly thrown out of the club earlier this week, and came back for revenge.
"People were standing around, they weren't running away. It sounded like firecrackers; it didn't seem like a gun and the guy wasn't going crazy. He was going bam bam," described witness Jerritt Boyer.
Witnesses say about 20 people were inside the club at the time. We're told Thiers got in through an entrance reserved for dancers, and started shooting right in the middle of a shift change around 6:30 p.m. Saturday.
Managers and brothers Jason and Phillip Catagnus were both hit in their backs.
"I jumped in front of one of the dancers and I told them it's not safe," Boyer said. "Some people ran outside. It was around the DJ booth where the second shot got fired, and then he went through the back where the dancers go, that was his escape route.
Officers rushed to the scene and say they spotted Thiers running out of the club. That's when were told he led cops on a high speed chase into Bucks County.
Investigators say the ordeal ended when Thiers wrecked his car, crashing into a tree in Warrington Township.
According to authorities, Thiers fired at officers but they were able to take him into custody.
Some customers at Double Visions reportedly drove the Catagnus brothers to the hospital Saturday night after they were shot. At last check, they're both in critical but stable condition.
Thiers is being held at the Montgomery County Correctional Facility on $2.5 million bail.
Anyone who witnessed the shooting is asked to call Horsham Police at 215-643-8284.
