Body found in Susquehanna County
PLYMOUTH TWP., Pa. -

Officials are in the midst of a homicide investigation after the body of an 88-year-old Montgomery County man was found off a road in Susquehanna County.

District Attorney Risa Ferman announced the investigation Wednesday into the homicide and abuse of corpse that officials said took place inside the victim's home at 3010 Arch St. in Plymouth Township.

Montgomery County law enforcement officials, along with state police, Susquehanna County District Attorney Jason Legg and Plymouth Township police are jointly investigating the case.

State police responded Friday to a report of a body wrapped in a tarp on Route 2036, near Route 29, in Gibson Township.

Susquehanna County's coroner conducted an autopsy Tuesday and identified the victim as Jack St. Onge of Plymouth Township. The manner of death was ruled a homicide.

Investigators are processing the victim's home as a crime scene.
