An incumbent State Representative from Montgomery County is giving up the ghost.

Republican Tom Quigley has conceded to Democrat Mark Painter.

Quigley says even though he's down by just 203 votes there aren't enough outstanding provisional and absentee ballots to make up the difference.

Quigley has served the 146th Legislative District for eight years.

The district includes Pottstown, Limerick Township and Royersford among other communities.

Painter has been the tax collector for Limerick Township for the past 15 years.
