Gilbertsville man charged with stealing Disney collectibles from Bucks County business

Police have arrested a man on charges he stole collectibles and sold them on eBay.

Pennridge Regional Police said 33-year-old Andrew DeCarlo of Charlotte Street in Gilbertsville broke into a West Rockhill Twp. business on four separate occasions and took various ceramic figurines and collectibles from Disney and Dept. 56.

DeCarlo allegedly broke into Chesterton Manor, at 164 Keystone Drive in Telford on July 31, August 4, 9 and 26 and took more than $28,000 of merchandise.

Following leads and surveillance video from Chesterton Manor, police were led to DeCarlo, who had allegedly been selling some of the items online.

When police arrested DeCarlo on Nov. 13, he was in possession of more than 50 used heroin packets, police said.

He was charged with four counts of burglary and related charges.

He was taken to the Bucks County Correctional Center in lieu of $100,000 bail.
