It took about 20 minutes to free a man from a pickup truck after a messy crash in Montgomery County.

NEW HANOVER TWP., Pa. -

It took about 20 minutes to free a man from a pickup truck after a messy crash in Montgomery County.

At least four utility poles were damaged after they were hit by a truck around 11 a.m. Thursday near North Charlotte Street and Swamp Picnic Road in New Hanover Township.

Police said the truck also hit two parked vehicles before coming to a stop. The owner of the parked vehicles said he hopes the driver is okay.

"We we're sitting and drinking coffee," said John Bryan. "I heard this boom, boom, boom and I looked out the window. I saw a car parked over there, saw a pole down, and of course, I ran and called 911 right away."

Police said electric, cable and telephone lines all had to be repaired. They had no information about the driver's condition.
