GLENOLDEN, Pa. -

The Philadelphia medical examiner's office has ordered additional laboratory tests as it investigates the case of a 12-year-old boy who died weeks after suffering injuries in a fight at his Delaware County school.

Health Department spokesman Jeff Moran says it will be a few weeks before a ruling on the cause and manner of Bailey O'Neill's death.

Family members say he died Sunday, a day after turning 12.

The sixth-grader suffered a concussion, broken nose and other injuries in a fight at Darby Township School on Jan. 10. Doctors later put him in a medically induced coma after he began having seizures.

Delaware County District Attorney Jack Whelan tells the Delaware County Daily Times charges are likely in the case, but he's awaiting the autopsy results.
