A small staff takes care of the Allentown Rescue Mission's daily operations, including an emergency shelter and a live-in transitional program for homeless men.

ALLENTOWN, Pa. -

With our current spate of extremely cold weather, it's not safe to be outside for long. Lehigh County offers a number of shelters to escape the cold.

Lehigh County has many services for homeless people year round, including mostly 24/7 emergency shelters, weekday drop in times, housing assistance, street outreach, and soup kitchens.

Some of the options and resources are:
