Same Albany Township home hit by burglars twice in a week, police say

ALBANY TWP., Pa. -

A home in Berks County has been burglarized twice in less than a week.

The home, in the 2700 block of Route 737 in Albany Township, was first hit last Wednesday.

Police said they believe several people broke into the garage and stole several power saws. The burglars were then seen pulling away in a Toyota Camry.

At least one person struck again on Monday, stealing a laptop computer and several pieces of jewelry, police said.

No arrests have been made.

Police are not saying if they believe the burglaries are connected.

Anyone with information is asked to call police or Crime Alert Berks County at 877-373-9913. A cash reward of up to $5,000 is being offered for information that leads to an arrest.
