Salisbury man found in stolen car in Lower Saucon

Joshua Todora of Salisbury Township has been committed to Northampton County Prison after being found sleeping in a stolen car in Lower Saucon Township early Monday morning.

At 2:05 a.m. Monday, Lower Saucon police spotted the stolen car parked in the lot of Creekside Market Place along Leithsville Road, near the Wine and Spirits store.

It had been reported stolen shortly after 9 p.m. Sunday night by Bethlehem Township police.

Todora was charged with theft of a motor vehicle, receiving stolen property, unauthorized use of a vehicle and drivers required to be licensed.

The defendant resides along Birch Drive, just outside Emmaus. His bail was set at $50,000.

The vehicle was returned to its owner.
