Robbery suspect threatens store clerks with needle, police say

A man held up a convenience store in Reading by claiming to have HIV and threatening to stab employees with a needle, police said.

A man held up a convenience store in Reading by claiming to have HIV and threatening to stab employees with a needle, police said.

Louis Carambot threatened employees at the A-Plus Mart on Perkiomen Avenue on Sunday afternoon, police said.

After making the threat, police said Carambot took off with car care products. Police said they nabbed him shortly after the robbery near City Park.
