Robbery suspect hit same National Penn Bank branch twice, Pottstown police say

A man accused of twice robbing the same bank in Montgomery County is now behind bars.

POTTSTOWN, Pa. -

A man accused of twice robbing the same bank in Montgomery County is now behind bars.

Christopher Lee Blount was taken before a judge for his preliminary arraignment Wednesday afternoon.

Blount, police said, twice robbed the National Penn Bank in the 300 block of East High Street in Pottstown.

The most recent holdup happened around 11:30 a.m. Tuesday; the other took place on Aug. 30.

Blount was committed to jail on $200,000 bail.
