EASTON, Pa. -

A Northampton County man is facing charges following a scuffle with a woman whose husband was killed in a shootout with police.

Susan Autenrieth was charged earlier this month with child endangerment and assault.

Autenrieth threw her 8-month-old child on his head during an argument with the baby's father, Richard Altemos, at a home in Nazareth, officials said.

Altemos has now been charged with punching Autenrieth while she was holding the baby, officials said.

In 2009, Autenrieth's estranged husband, Daniel, kidnapped their son and led police on a chase, which ended in a shootout.

Daniel Autenrieth and a state trooper, Joshua Miller, were both killed.
