HARMONY TWP., N.J. -

The 4-H Renaissance Fair in Warren County took visitors back to the 1500s.

The event, presented by by the Warren County 4-H, ran throughout the weekend at the Warren County Fairgrounds in Harmony Township.

Visitors stepped back in time when a cultural movement known as the Renaissance evolved; a time when da Vinci, Michelangelo and Galileo transformed the world with their art and science. It was a time when Shakespeare’s romance flourished with tragic results, and when advances in agriculture transformed the backbone of society.

Events included jousting re-enactments, archery demonstrations, fencing, living chess matches, music and a visit from the Three Musketeers.
