Quakertown Council approves summer events

QUAKERTOWN, Pa. -

The Quakertown Borough Council approved several summer events at its meeting on Wednesday night.

Council approved a request from RASA to use Memorial park for a softball tournament on June 29th, July 5th, 6th, and 13th.

It also approved a block party request to be held on Franklin Street on July 4th from 3-10PM. Council also approved a request to close Second Street for QNB Founders Day on July 17th from 6:30-9:30 PM.

Council then approved several events to be held in September to close out the summer season.

The events Council approved for September include a musical concert to be held in Memorial Park on the 20th and a “Free Fall” event sponsored by the Quakertown Fellowship of Christian Athletes High School Club and the Quakertown Network East Swamp Church on the 28th at Main Street Park.
