Police say a tip from a 69 News viewer helped them catch a man who changed his mind about robbing a bank at the last minute.

MUHLENBERG TWP., Pa. -

A tip from a 69 News viewer helped police catch a man who changed his mind about robbing a bank at the last minute, officials said.

The attempted holdup happened Tuesday afternoon at the Citizen's Bank in the 4900 block of Kutztown Road in Muhlenberg Township.

Robert Hall handed a teller a note and demanded money, police said.

The teller asked him, "Are you sure you want to do this?"

Hall then changed his mind and left without taking any money, police said.

"Seemed like he was more desperate and probably just acted on desperation," said Ofc. Chris Orzech, Muhlenberg Twp. Police Dept.

Hall will be arraigned on attempted robbery charges, police said.
