Police: Montgomery County bank robbery suspect in custody

Authorities in Montgomery County say they have tracked down the man responsible for holding up a bank in Royersford on Wednesday.
On Saturday morning, Royersford police announced the arrest of 31-year-old Mark Morton of the 200 block of Main Street in Royersford.
Police say the robbery happened Wednesday afternoon at the National Penn Bank at Main Street and Lewis Road.
Police say Morton demanded money via a note and walked away with $2,800.
Immediately following the robbery, two day-care centers and an elementary school were in lockdown for a period of time as police scoured for the robber.
Nobody was hurt in the incident.
Police say none of the money has been recovered.
Morton is being held at the Montgomery County Correctional Facility.
